根据湖南省会展业发展规划（2013-2020年），郴州国际会展中心是湖南大湘南板块中唯一的大型会展中心，也是目前湖南省规模最大、功能最全、专业水平最高的展馆之一，不仅可以进行商品展销、商贸洽谈、还具备举办大型会议、宴会、集会、庆典活动等功能。

According to the development plan of the convention and exhibition industry of Hunan Province (2013-2020), Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center is the onIy exhibition venue in Xiangnan (southern Hunan) , It ranks among the largest, most advanced and sophisticated ven ues in Hunan Province. It is suitable for hosting not only trade exhibitions and conferences, but also large-scale conventions, banquet, events and ceremonies.

郴州位处高铁沿线，往来深圳、广州及长沙均极方便。由深圳北站至郴州西站只需约2小时，由广州南站或长沙南站至郴州西站均只需约1.5小时。由郴州西站至郴州国际会展中心，车程只需约20分钟。

Chenzhou lies along the high speed rail route and is easily accessible from Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Changsha It takes a little over two hours from Shenzhen North Station and less than one and a half hours from Guangzhou South Station or Changsha South Station to Chenzhou West Station. From Chenzhou West Station to Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, driving time is about 20 minutes only
